A useful home robot needs more than human-like movement. Buyers should evaluate repeatability, safety, manipulation, navigation, battery life, charging, noise, privacy, support and the exact tasks supported at delivery.
Ask for task-level evidence
Instead of asking whether a robot is “AI powered,” ask whether it can reliably perform your intended task in an ordinary home, how long it takes, what supervision is required and what happens when the environment changes.
